A British police officer made headlines today after the release of a dramatic in-car video footage showing him being violently tossed into the air when a stolen BMW rammed his patrol car, only to get up and chase down the offender on foot.

It all went down on July 3 when the Surrey police was in pursuit of 29-year-old Lee Ralph Adamson for stealing a BMW. Police Constable Dan Pascoe was getting ready to set up a roadblock off the M25 when the offender crashed onto his vehicle.

It Came from eBay Hell: Porsche 959 Replica Based on a…Porsche 356 Replica

Two of the most egregious of Porsche replicas to be found on eBay are those of the 356 of the 1950s and ‘60s and the 959 of the late 1980s. Both these cars were legends of their times and are rightly regarded as classics today.

So it’s no surprise that replicas are especially widespread and varying in quality from the very good to the very bad. On the latter end of this very broad spectrum is this 959 replica, which is evidently based on a –hold on- a…Porsche 356 replica.

Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 featured on Top Gear Back in the 1990s up for Sale

Even though we’re always on the lookout for rally-bred production cars from the 1980s and 1990s like the Lancia Delta Integrale, we must admit that this 1994 Toyota Celica GT-Four ST205 grabbed our attention mainly because it is the same car that was featured on an older episode of Top Gear. A young Jeremy Clarkson had then compared it against Ford's Escort RS Cosworth.

Study: Turning Black Cabs into EVs Would Save London 4,000 Tonnes of CO2 Every Week

According to a new study from EcoVelocity, London could be saved from 4,000 tonnes of CO2 every week if its 22,000 registered Hackney carriages, or black cabs as they are commonly referred to, were to become electric vehicles.

The above figure could more than triple if London’s private-hire vehicles, or minicabs, also ran on electricity. The study took into account the CO2 emissions of the three most common black cabs, the TXI, TXII and TX4 and the average mileage each cab covers every day.

A British police officer trying to impound a Ferrari F430 Spider (probably somewhere in London) was caught on film by a by-passer having a hard time figuring out how to start up the exotic Italian supercar.

Too bad for us but...luckily for him, the man behind the video camera was nice enough to point out the shiny red ‘ENGINE START’ button on the steering wheel (honestly, how can you miss it?). Watch the amusing clip after the jump.
