New Car: 2011 Zenvo ST-1 50S
Danish supercar maker Zenvo Automotive has announced the arrival of a special edition “mighty Zenvo ST-1” for the US market.
Dubbed ST-1 50S, the special edition has been developed with Zenvo's US distributor Red Sea Distribution. It gets a raft of changes over the standard car, including a power hike of 144bhp from 1089bhp to 1233bhp. Torque also increases from 1055lb ft to a heady 1106lb ft.
Power comes courtesy of Zenvo’s own 7.0-litre supercharged and turbocharged V8 petrol engine, which is mated to a seven-speed automatic gearbox. According to Zenvo, the ST-1 50S will hit 62mph in under 3.0sec, with top speed limited to 233mph.
Inside, the supercar – of which only three will be built – gets individual monogrammed seats, and an exclusive complimentary, Swiss-made Aspen Zenvo watch worth £30,000.
Other features include the choice of three colours – one for each car – including Intense Red, Crystal White and Mediterranean Blue, magnesium wheels and a special edition plaque signed by the engineers and owners.
Prices for the Zenvo ST-1 50S start from $1.8 million (£1.1m) plus local taxes.
