Audi R8 GT New Concept and Power Full In 2012
Audi R8 GT
American car enthusiasts will finally get the opportunity to purchase one of the few Audi R8 GT available in the world. Revisions made on the Audi R8 GT base model, the Audi R8 GT’s usage of carbon fiber allows the super car to be 180 pounds lighter than the Audi R8 5.2 Quattro Coupe. Pushing on the speed equation further, engineers also tweaked an additional 35 horsepower out of the 5.2-liter V10 FSI engine. This translates to a performance of 0-62 mph with a time of only 3.6 seconds. Inspired by the new Audi R8 LMS GT3 with a starting price of $196,800, the Audi R8 GT will also include a range of exclusive interior and exterior options to convey the car’s exclusivity.

Special works done on the exterior, such as special matte finishes and an exclusive colorway for the GT Samoa Orange, are all options to select from. In 2012 Audi R8 GT receives significant exterior modifications aimed at enhancing its already stellar handling, and it is powered by a modified 5.2-liter V10 FSI engine that produces 560 horsepower (35 hp more than the R8 Coupe 5.2 quattro and the R8 Spyder 5.2 quattro). The 2012 R8 GT employs the R tronic sequential manual transmission. This pairing produces a top track speed of 199 mph, and a 0-62 mph time of 3.6 seconds. Overall, the Audi R8 GT will provide drivers with high lateral acceleration and a low center of gravity.
