The 2011 Lincoln MKX, which is powered by a 305-hp 3.7L V6, averages 19/26 mpg (city/highway) with a combined fuel-economy of 21 mpg. That figure helps it top all its competitors including the Lexus RX350, Cadillac SRX and the BMW X5. “The new 2011 MKX is the latest vehicle to deliver on Lincoln’s commitment of industry-leading performance and fuel efficiency,” said Derrick Kuzak, Ford’s group vice president, Global Product Development. “It offers no compromises with best-in-class fuel economy, horsepower and torque.”
